Netflix Raises Prices
I’m currently paying 9.99 a month for unlimited streaming plus one dvd out at one time. With the new plans I would have to pay 15.99 to receive that level of service.
Getting DVDs through the mail seemed cutting edge just a few years ago, but now feels almost archaic, so in theory I have no problem with this move.
However, the vast majority of movies I’d like to watch are not available for streaming. Hopefully, along with the change in Netflix plans, they’ll work on making more movies available by streaming.
Until and if that time comes I’ll choose the streaming only plan for 7.99 and use iTunes to rent movies they don’t have available.
